The Essential Walnut uses the wood that has defined Levantine oud making for centuries. Walnut was the bowl material of choice for luthiers across the region, valued for its availability and its warm, rounded sonic response. A 6-string oud tuned to Ccc (Do-Do), with a solid spruce soundboard, ebony fingerboard, fixed bridge, and ebony pegs.
The walnut bowl delivers a balanced tone with rich low-mids and smooth highs, well suited for traditional Arabic and Levantine repertoire where warmth and depth matter most. The ebony fingerboard adds durability and a smoother feel for faster, more precise left-hand work.

A tribute to Roufan Nahhat, one of the brothers in the family often called the Stradivarius of the oud. Built following the Nahhat aesthetic, with a walnut bowl, spruce soundboard, maple dividers, and the traditional soundboard inlays typical of Nahhat ouds. A 6-string oud tuned to Ccc (Do-Do), with rosewood pegs and a fixed bridge.
The spruce top paired with the walnut bowl produces a bright, projecting tone with strong fundamentals, responsive to both delicate ornamental playing and full-voiced plucking.
