The Ember pairs padauk and wenge in a bowl that mirrors fire meeting ash, the deep red of burning wood set against dark, charred grain. The name captures that moment where heat still glows beneath the surface. A 6-string oud tuned to Ccc (Do-Do), with a solid spruce soundboard, ebony pegs, fixed bridge, ebony fingerboard, and three circular soundboard holes.
The padauk-wenge combination delivers a bright, punchy attack with strong projection, balanced by the warmth of the spruce top. The fixed bridge gives a direct, tight response, while the three circular holes keep the tone open and even across the registers. The ebony fingerboard adds durability and a smoother feel for faster left-hand work.
